Why a master build guarantee? The Master Build New Homes or Alterations & Additions Guarantee is only offered by a Registered Master Builder. You are covered for either:
•Loss of Deposit– Up to 10% of the Contract Price to a maximum of $50,000.
•Non Completion – Up to 20% of the Contract Price to a maximum of $500,000
•Materials & Workmanship from practical completion for 2 years.
•Structural Cover After building work is complete: including Rot and Fungal Decay (weathertightness) – for 10 years from Guarantee acceptance.
(Maximum total cover across all claims over the life of the Guarantee $1,000,000 or the Contract Value whichever is the lessor)
